Head coach Drew Graham said playing their first league game was a challenge because they haven't been able to get a significant amount of time outdoors yet.
"This season has been challenging because we haven't been out on the field because of the weather," he said. "It limits the way we can run plays because the gym is constricting and doesn't allow us to spread plays out like we can on a field. That said the girls played well and used the experience from the SMU tournament to prepare for Antigonish."
Graham said he was proud of the leadership on the field by his players from rookies to seniors.
"We came out with the aggressive style of rugby that we have become known for and we put multiple phases together, which was very encouraging," he said. "There were times in the game we didn't play our best rugby,[url=http://www.holisteroutlet.cc]http://www.holisteroutlet.cc[/url], but they didn't let it get to them, so I was very proud of that."
